Job DescriptionJob Summary: We are seeking a experienced and dedicated Security, Surveillance, and Access Control Installation & Service Technician to install, maintain, and service security systems, cameras, and access control devices. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to ensuring our clients' safety. Key Responsibilities: Install, test, and troubleshoot security, surveillance, and access control systems at client sites Perform routine maintenance and repairs to ensure optimal system performance Provide technical support and training to clients on system operation Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and installation instructions for proper setup Conduct on-site assessments and recommend security enhancements Maintain accurate records of service calls, installations, and maintenance activities Adhere to safety protocols and company policies during all activities Stay current with industry advancements and new security technologies Qualifications: At least 3 years of experience in security system installation, maintenance, and repair Knowledge of CCTV, video surveillance, access control, alarm systems, and related technologies Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and wiring diagrams Excellent communication and customer service skills Valid driver's license and ability to travel to various locations US citizen fluent in English Relevant certifications (Hanwha, DMP, Speco, S2, Galaxy) are a plus Skilled in pulling, terminating, and testing low-voltage cables in compliance with code Experience installing door hardware such as strikes, magnetic locks, and push/panic devices Work Environment: Fieldwork involves travel to customer sites, including occasional out-of-town jobs requiring overnight stays Physical activity required: lifting up to 75 pounds, climbing ladders, working in confined spaces On-call availability may be necessary based on company needs
