Job Description A global automation and manufacturing integrator is hiring a Senior Mechanical Engineer to support the design and delivery of complex automated systems. This role combines technical ownership, project leadership, and cross-functional collaboration within a fast-paced engineering environment. Key Responsibilities Lead mechanical design efforts for custom automation equipment and manufacturing systems. Develop engineering solutions that meet customer specifications, safety standards, and project timelines. Apply advanced engineering principles to both standard and non-routine design challenges. Oversee smaller projects or major components of larger programs. Review technical output, provide design feedback, and guide less experienced engineers. Identify design improvements that increase performance, reliability, and manufacturability. Influence project direction and support department-level engineering decisions. Communicate with internal teams, customers, and stakeholders regarding technical requirements. Serve as a subject matter expert and mentor within the mechanical engineering group. Travel: Up to 25%, including overnight and occasional international travel Job RequirementsRequired Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or closely related discipline. Associate degree holders with relevant experience will be considered. Approximately 6 to 10+ years of mechanical engineering experience within automation, capital equipment, or engineered-to-order environments. Advanced proficiency with CAD platforms such as SolidWorks, Creo, NX, or AutoCAD. Strong understanding of mechanical design practices, materials, and manufacturing processes. Demonstrated ability to lead technical initiatives and influence engineering outcomes. Proven problem-solving ability with minimal supervision. Preferred Background Experience working for an automation integrator or designing custom machinery. FE or EIT certification. Prior experience mentoring engineers or leading discipline-specific teams. Exposure to highly regulated manufacturing environments is a plus. Additional Details Onsite role requiring close collaboration with engineering and production teams. Candidates must pass a background check, drug screening, and physical examination in accordance with company requirements. Base Salary: $105,000 to $140,000 DOE
