Work collaboratively with physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, family members, and caregivers to formulate integrated care pathways. Provide education to patients and their families to ensure ongoing progress beyond therapy sessions. Occasionally assist with inpatient evaluations and interventions to guarantee seamless treatment continuity. Keep precise documentation according to state, federal, and organizational standards. Engage in professional development to remain current with advancements in speech-language pathology. Education A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution. Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if ASHA certification has not yet been obtained. Certifications State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist. Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of joining.
