Facilities Maintenance Account Manager Boynton Beach, FL Our client is a national provider of facilities maintenance and general construction services supporting commercial clients across the United States. The ideal candidate brings deep facilities maintenance knowledge, financial discipline, and the ability to coordinate vendors and internal teams to ensure service excellence and client satisfaction. This is a fast-paced, service-driven environment where responsiveness, accountability, and execution matter. The Account Manager will serve as the primary point of contact for assigned commercial clients, overseeing facility maintenance projects from initiation through completion. This role requires strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills, along with the ability to manage multiple workstreams in a dynamic environment. Key Responsibilities Client Relationship Management Build and maintain strong client relationships Serve as the main point of contact for service requests and project updates Proactively address concerns and ensure high client satisfaction Project & Work Order Management Oversee maintenance work orders from planning and budgeting through execution and reporting Scope projects accurately and anticipate operational challenges Ensure deadlines and service level expectations are consistently met Vendor & Team Coordination Coordinate vendors, contractors, and internal teams to deliver timely, cost-effective service Mentor and guide team members to achieve performance objectives Resolve issues quickly during active maintenance projects Financial Oversight Track and manage project budgets and operational expenses Review and approve vendor invoices Ensure services are delivered efficiently and within financial targets Required Qualifications Minimum 6 years of facilities maintenance experience (required) Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general facility systems Experience overseeing maintenance work orders from start to finish Proficiency with facilities management platforms such as MS Dynamics Field Services, Corrigo, Service Channel, FM Pilot, or Verisae Strong budgeting, invoice review, and cost-control experience Excellent verbal, written, and negotiation skills Strong organizational and multitasking abilities Proficiency with Microsoft Office and client management systems
