Technical Architecture Manager

Tampa | Direct Hire | Hybrid (Tue, Wed, Thur onsite) - Must be local in the Tampa Bay area or willing to relocate. Serious inquiries only. Our client is seeking a strategic and hands-on Technical Architecture Manager to lead a team of 6 architects. This leader will set architecture standards, guide major initiatives, and align technology investments with business strategies. Duties include (but are not limited to):Define and govern architecture standards, principles, and reference patterns Lead team developing end-to-end solution design for complex initiatives Assess current environments and develop target architecture roadmaps Ensure solutions meet scalability, security, and reliability requirements Guide teams on microservices, APIs, integrations, and event-driven design Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend adoption strategies Partner with business, product, security, and engineering stakeholders Present architecture recommendations to senior leadership Mentor and manage Solution Architecture team members Requires:Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience 7-10 years across architecture, engineering, integrations, infrastructure, or security Proven experience leading technical teams or major architecture initiatives Strong background in APIs, microservices, distributed systems, and integrations Career path in development and into design Deep expertise in cloud and hybrid environments (AWS, GCP) Experience with AI platforms/frameworks (e.g., Vertex AI, Bedrock, agentic patterns) Knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD, Docker, and Kubernetes Solid understanding of secure-by-design principles and operational resilience U.S. Citizens or Green Card holders only, please.
