Job Description Design Tailored Therapy Plans: Assess patients' needs and create personalized treatment strategies that enable them to achieve their desired goals. Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Employ evidence-based methods to boost patients' motor skills, cognitive functions, and daily living capabilities. Collaborate in a Team Environment: Partner effectively with occupational, physical, and speech therapists, as well as physicians and nursing staff to deliver comprehensive care. Guide Patients and Families: Provide education to patients and caregivers on therapeutic techniques, supporting continued progress at home. Track and Adapt Treatment Outcomes: Monitor clinical progress and modify plans as necessary to ensure patients remain on their path to recovery. Education Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution. Ongoing education or additional certifications encouraged and supported. Certifications Active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license required. NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification mandatory.
