Job Responsibilities Create Individualized Treatment Plans: Assess each patient's unique needs and design tailored therapy strategies to help them achieve their functional goals. Implement Effective Therapeutic Techniques: Use best practices grounded in research to boost patients' motor functions, cognitive skills, and activities of daily living. Engage with Multi-Disciplinary Teams: Collaborate closely with fellow rehabilitation specialists, including OTs, PTs, STs, doctors, and nurses, to provide well-rounded, comprehensive care. Teach Patients and Family Members: Provide education on therapy methods to empower patients and their families to continue progress at home. Track Progress and Document Outcomes: Monitor clinical results and adapt treatment plans as necessary to keep patients on track toward recovery. Qualifications A degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution. Continuing education and post-graduate certifications will be encouraged and financially supported. Licenses and Certifications Active and valid Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license. NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is required.
