Work synergistically with a team of professionals, including nurses, physicians, occupational therapists, and families to develop cohesive treatment plans. Educate patients and their families to empower them in the journey of progress outside of therapy sessions. Participate in inpatient evaluations and interventions as required, ensuring a seamless care process throughout treatment. Keep meticulous records in accordance with established guidelines and regulations. Engage in ongoing professional development and knowledge sharing through education and teamwork. Education Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution. Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) is recommended for those who haven't attained ASHA certification. Certifications State licensure as a Speech Therapist. Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.
