Entry Level WelderJob DescriptionWe are seeking skilled Welders responsible for operating welding machinery to produce steel and aluminum parts for consumer and industrial storage and climbing units. The role involves setting up welding equipment, making necessary adjustments, and maintaining quality standards through inspection.Responsibilities Operate welders to produce steel and aluminum parts. Set up welder, make necessary adjustments, and replace spools of welding wire and tips as required. Obtain designated parts from baskets, stacks, or floors and place completed products on conveyor lines or designated areas. Perform visual and periodic measurement inspections of parts/products to ensure conformance with quality standards using blueprints. Report mechanical problems with the welder to the supervisor or maintenance team. Record production output on daily reports, including part/model numbers and quantities. Operate grinders to remove excess burrs and welding wire as necessary. Monitor parts used and required for production, and notify the supervisor of material requirements and shortages. Essential Skills Proficiency in MIG welding. Ability to read and interpret blueprints. Welding certification is required. Experience in a production welding environment. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with flux core welding and fabrication. Ability to operate in a fast-paced production environment.
