Military experience is a plus, as required. with industry experience at the VP/President/CEO level.S3, Inc.'s significant growth over the past 27 months has created an immediate need for a Corporate President to sustain this growth. The duty site is corporate HQ in Research Park, Huntsville, AL. DESCRIPTION: The Corporate President, a C Suite executive, reports to the CEO, with accountability to lead the company's contract, product, and service performance. The President ensures alignment with the company's mission and customer's objectives, managing growth through the technical leadership staff. The President manages the technical solutions and services to our customers, develops the plan for a minimum of 10% growth performance, and executes that plan into reality. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Operational Oversight: Ensure that the waterfall delivers a minimum of 10% growth in annual revenue; build the pipeline for 25% growth. Leadership Lead and motivate the company's executive technical team and employees. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment. Provide guidance and support to employees, ensuring they have the resources and training they need to succeed. Represent the company in meetings with government officials, industry partners, and other stakeholders. Actively support business pursuits. Repreents S3 in the absence of the CEO. Financial Management: Oversee the contract's financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. Ensure the company is profitable and financially stable for contract execution. Coordinate with the CFO to manage the company's cash flow requirements. Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure the company complies with all applicable laws, regulations, and DoD policies. Identify and mitigate potential contract performance risks to the company. Maintain strong internal controls to prevent fraud and waste. QUALIFICATIONSEducation: Bachelor's degree and Master's degree required; PhD preferred. Experience: 30 years of experience in senior technical management roles, progressing with time from PM to Sr PM to Director, VP, and President within the defense contracting industry. While military and GS time are applicable, experience in C-Suite management roles in the technical services industry is required to mitigate transitional performance risk. Skills: Strong technical leadership, strategic planning, financial management, and communication skills in DOW services weapon systems technical acquisition training, programmatic, and logistics as a prime contractor. Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of the DoW contracting process, Shipley proposal process, the acquisition process, industry regulations, and best business practices with CAS compliance. Customer and product awareness for the Army, Navy, and Air Force weapons acquisition for missiles, space, and aviation requirements. Leadership: 10 years of experience in leading business entities of different skills, education, cost burdens, products, and customers in a cohesive growth plan to double non-recurring business in five years, Other: Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to work under pressure, a strong commitment to ethical conduct, knowledge of and interaction with the government leadership of Huntsville, AL, Federal agencies, working knowledge and interactions with Huntsville, AL technical services prime contractors, and an internal drive to achieve mission success ahead of schedule and within cost.
