Deliver personalized speech therapy services honing in on language, fluency, voice, and swallowing difficulties. Engage collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, and doctors, to create a unified treatment approach. Equip patients and their families with the knowledge and strategies to support progress beyond the therapy sessions. Provide support for occasional inpatient evaluations and interventions, ensuring a seamless care experience for patients. Keep precise and timely records that adhere to all applicable guidelines. Engage in ongoing education to stay ahead in the evolving field of speech-language pathology. Education Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution. Completion of a clinically supervised fellowship if not yet ASHA-certified. Certifications State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist. Preferred Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification to be obtained within 30 days of employment.
