Field Engineer

Field Engineer Contract/ Contract to Hire Atlanta, GA Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled IT Support Technician to provide operational support and manage Install, Move, Add, and Change (IMAC) requests across office environments, reservation centers, and airport locations. This role ensures IT infrastructure runs smoothly while delivering excellent customer service. Key Responsibilities: Provide service and technical support during field visits or dispatches. Diagnose errors and technical issues, determining and implementing effective solutions. Produce timely and detailed service reports. Document processes and maintain accurate records of solutions to complex issues. Collect and analyze performance data to provide technical assistance. Align workflow with schedules to ensure efficient operations. Create workaround procedures when standard processes fail and ensure issues are resolved. Troubleshoot and develop technical solutions related to software and setup errors for field engineers, technicians, and customers. Build and maintain positive relationships with customers. Safely use ladders and other equipment as needed. Qualifications: Strong customer service skills with a focus on satisfaction and professionalism. Technical knowledge of IT infrastructure, hardware, and software troubleshooting. Experience with deskside support and field support. Ability to travel as required.
