Job Description Job Title: Machine Builder (Industrial Equipment) Pay & Benefits: Pay based on experience. Hours & Location: Monday-Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm | 30-minute lunch | West Side Cleveland What You'll Do: This is hands-on machine building work assembling and testing custom industrial heating, drying, and coating equipment. You'll build from detailed blueprints/schematics, fit and align heavy components with the help of hoists/cranes, and make sure the finished machine performs to specification. Most work is mechanical assembly, with occasional basic electrical wiring as needed. This position does require previous experience and your own tools. Job Responsibilities: Assemble large custom industrial ovens, dryers, and coating machinery to customer specs Read and follow complex blueprints/schematics during the build process Use hand tools, power tools, hoists, and cranes to fit, align, and install components Test completed equipment to confirm performance standards and design requirements Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues during assembly and testing Required Qualifications: Proven machine builder or mechanical assembly experience in a manufacturing environment Strong blueprint/schematic reading ability Comfortable using hand and power tools; mechanical troubleshooting skills Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods (repetitive work is common) Team-focused, dependable, and able to think on your feet Workplace & Requirements: Steel-toe boots required.
