Education Requirements Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science or an equivalent allied health qualification, with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification. Certifications Obtaining ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) within one year of employment is required.
