Fleet Support Engineer

Our client, a leader in autonomous vehicle technology and fleet management, is seeking a Fleet Support Engineer to join their team. As a Fleet Support Engineer, you will be part of the Vehicle Development department supporting operational uptime and vehicle performance. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, effective communication, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.Job Title: Fleet Support EngineerLocation: Miami, FLPay Range: $74 per hourWhat's the Job? Serve as the primary point of contact for real-time escalations related to sensor and fleet issues. Conduct in-depth root cause analysis through log review to identify and resolve fleet problems. Develop, update, and maintain troubleshooting guides for technicians, incorporating new fault resolutions. Perform hardware bring-up and validation procedures for new sensor components such as LiDAR, radar, and cameras. Design and implement diagnostic procedures to improve troubleshooting efficiency, focusing on sensor calibration and data integrity. What's Needed? Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in transportation, aerospace, or autonomous vehicle sectors, with a focus on perception systems and sensors. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering. Experience with low/high voltage circuits, UDS, and troubleshooting safety protocols. Understanding of hardware and software systems architecture supporting operational environments. Ability to interpret schematics, electrical diagrams, and connector pinouts effectively.
