Job Title: CNC Mill MachinistOverviewWe are looking for an experienced CNC Mill Machinist to join our swing shift team. In this role, you will work on highly intricate aerospace and space components using advanced 5‑axis CNC milling equipment. Our organization supports a diverse mix of commercial Boeing programs, defense work, and space manufacturing. We focus on both hard metals and high‑speed aluminum machining and operate a wide range of 5‑axis platforms, including large gantry and nutating‑head systems.Key Responsibilities Operate 3‑, 4‑, and 5‑axis horizontal and vertical CNC milling machines Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, engineering specs, and apply GD&T Perform precision measurements using calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and height gauges Use foundational math, geometry, and trigonometry to support machining accuracy Set up equipment, including pallets, vises, tombstones, and part‑holding fixtures Required Experience Minimum of 5 years of machining experience Background in aerospace manufacturing Skilled in operating Makino MAG3 machinery Hands-on experience with aluminum components and defense-related machining Preferred Qualifications Strong ability to interpret complex engineering documentation Solid understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) principles What We OfferYou’ll be joining a privately owned company known for its long employee tenure and strong culture.
