We invite applications for an experienced Senior Cybersecurity Engineer with extensive knowledge in systems development, cybersecurity, and contemporary software engineering practices. This role is perfect for a seasoned expert eager to design, build, and maintain secure and scalable platforms, integrating advanced technologies like AI and data enrichment into our security operations. What You'll Do Platform Engineering & Development Design, develop, and maintain security-centric platforms using scripting languages, C++, and Rust. Implement modern development methodologies including CI/CD, DevOps, and Agile for efficient solution delivery. Build scalable solutions for Linux-based environments and cloud architectures. Systems Integration Integrate various systems through APIs, webhooks, and communication protocols. Enhance SecOps capabilities by developing and maintaining integrations with AI-driven tools and data enrichment platforms. Ensure seamless interoperability across diverse environments and security tools. Security Operations Work alongside SecOps teams to design and implement cutting-edge monitoring, detection, and response strategies. Troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues related to performance, reliability, and security. Utilize cybersecurity best practices to secure infrastructure and applications. Infrastructure & Cloud Architect and manage secure cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) focusing on scalability and security. Optimize Linux OS and kernel configurations for peak performance and resilience. Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management. Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications) Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent professional experience. 7+ years in systems development, with a validated history of delivering complex solutions. At least 4+ years in SecOps or cybersecurity-oriented roles. Proficient in programming with scripting languages, C++, and Rust. Strong understanding of Linux OS internals and kernel-level operations. Hands-on experience in cloud development and architecture (AWS, Azure, GCP). Expertise in troubleshooting complex distributed systems. Experience integrating systems using APIs, webhooks, and other protocols. Familiarity with AI-driven integrations and data enrichment workflows. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. Ability to thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environments. What Will Give You a Competitive Edge (Preferred Qualifications) Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes). Knowledge of security frameworks and compliance standards (e.g., NIST, ISO, SOC2). Familiarity with SIEM, SOAR, EDR, and other SecOps platforms. Contributions to open-source projects or security communities. Compensation: The expected base salary ranges from $125,200 - $158,600, and actual compensation will be influenced by various factors relevant to the position.
