Project Engineer

Responsibilities: The Project Engineer will be responsible for working alongside Sales and Production staff for the design of hydraulic power units for customers. This candidate ideally will have a Mechanical Engineering Degree with Industrial Sales experience. This candidate should be mechanically inclined and understand mechanical, fluid power and electrical systems. Salary: Starting at $100,000-$115,000 Hours: Business hours - Monday-Friday, standard 40-hour work week with occasional OT. Direct Hire - Permanent Position/Salary-Exempt Job Description: Work closely with the Sales Team to support quotations and sales efforts on new opportunities Work closely with our Manufacturing Team during fabrication and testing of systems Offer ideas to improve engineering standards and improve overall quality A Positive, "Can-Do" Attitude A desire to help Teammates succeed, always helping where needed BS in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent Job Requirements: BS in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent 1-3 years in Hydraulic Design Excellent Organization skills (oral and written) Knowledge of hydraulic systems/ schematics Ability to design simple to complex hydraulic power units Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently Ability to interface closely with both internal/external customer Excels at attention to detail, multi-tasking, and working under pressure Proficient in 3D modeling software, preferably AutoCAD Inventor Experience in the use of MS Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint and be proficient in Excel Programmable controllers experience a definite plus
