Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech)Key Responsibilities: Perform diagnostic imaging procedures, such as X-rays, in line with established protocols and safety standards. Prepare and position patients for imaging, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the procedure. Operate imaging equipment, performing routine maintenance and quality checks for optimal function. Work closely with physicians and healthcare staff to ensure accurate interpretation of images. Maintain thorough and accurate patient records in accordance with healthcare regulations. Educate patients on the imaging process, addressing any questions or concerns. Qualifications: Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field from an accredited program. Current ARRT certification and Illinois state licensure. Strong understanding of imaging techniques, safety standards, and patient care. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on patient-centered care. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
