Job Posting: Behavioral Consultant (LBA/LABA - BCBA/BCaBA) - Behavior Consultation under Virginia's DD Waiver Overview: CHAW is looking for a skilled Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) or Licensed Assistant Behavior Analyst (LABA) with an active BCBA/BCaBA certification to join our team in providing Behavior Consultation services under Virginia's DD Waivers. This role involves a range of consultative services, including assessments, behavior support planning, intervention training, and ongoing data monitoring. Key Responsibilities: Conduct Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs) to identify needs and challenges. Develop comprehensive Behavior Support Plans (BSPs) featuring proactive strategies and replacement behaviors. Provide training and consultation to families, caregivers, and staff to enhance support strategies. Model effective behavioral interventions during in-person sessions as required. Engage in annual ISP meetings and participate in quarterly reviews for ongoing assessment. Collect and analyze data, offering regular updates with graphs and tables. Complete necessary Medicaid documentation, including progress notes and training logs. Qualifications: Must be licensed in Virginia as an LBA/LABA. Hold an active BCBA/BCaBA certification from BACB. Have experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities and developmental delays (ID/DD). Schedule & Modality: Each unit comprises 1 hour; flexible schedule for consultative services. In-person attendance is required for assessments, BSP development, and training sessions, with visit frequency usually ranging from 1 to 4 times per month, based on ISP authorization.
