We are incredibly team oriented and strive to be the best of the best - we grow from within, and we prioritize training and certifications for our teammates.The Crew Chief leads the job site and team to effectively and successfully complete water, fire and mold restoration projects in residential homes and commercial buildings. By providing quality and efficient work, you will become a part of the best in the cleanup and restoration industry.You are the first responders onsite for water damage claims and you are responsible for beginning the claim process, determining the scope of work, performing demo as needed, daily monitoring and diary notes, and job closeout/customer satisfaction survey. Working in crews of two - technician and crew chief, you respond to service calls as needed and perform services as assigned. Communicate with the Office Staff and Managers to make sure all customer needs are met.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform water, fire and mold production processes with at least 1 year of experience.Communicate clear expectations to production technicians and supervise their activities.Coordinate and perform production processes.Identify safety hazards, communicate, and establish control measures to ensure the safety of occupants and workers.Provide detailed and organized job documentation.Effectively communicate with supervisors, customers, and office staff.Manage and control labor and consumable usage on assigned projects.Position RequirementsAt least 1 year of experience in cleaning/restorationIICRC Certifications preferredAbility to manage job site and team effectivelyEffectively communicate with others and excellent customer service skillsBasic math and computer skillsValid driver’s licenseAbility to lift a minimum of 50 pounds regularly, occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance and complete a variety of physically demanding activities.Ability to successfully complete a background check subject to applicable lawCompensation$24-26/hr, based on experience with potential bonusesPaid Holiday & Vacation401K optionsHealth InsuranceAt Big Bear, we offer:Competitive compensationSuperior benefitsCareer progressionProfessional developmentWork-life balanceAnd more!
