Finance Manager

Ardent Global Logistics Position: Finance Manager Location: Flexible / Hybrid Ardent Global Logistics is a growing, relationship driven freight forwarding and trade advisory firm focused on helping customers do common things in uncommon ways. We operate in an entrepreneurial environment where initiative, ownership, and clarity matter. We are seeking a Finance Manager who can both run the day to day financial engine and provide forward looking insight to leadership. This role blends accounting, controllership, FP&A, and light CFO level support. You will be the financial backbone of the organization and a trusted partner to leadership as the company continues to scale. Key Responsibilities Own monthly close, financial statements, and accuracy of the general ledger Manage AP, AR, cash application, and working capital visibility Build and maintain budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis Develop KPIs and dashboards to support operational decision making Oversee revenue recognition and shipment level profitability within logistics operations Improve processes, controls, and reporting structure as the company grows Support pricing strategy, customer profitability analysis, and deal reviews Partner with leadership on cash planning, banking relationships, and financial strategy Qualifications 5+ years of experience in accounting, finance, or FP&A Experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or service based business preferred Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting fundamentals Comfortable building models and working directly with leadership Highly organized, detail oriented, and process minded Able to translate financial data into clear business insight CPA or finance related degree preferred but not required Entrepreneurial mindset with willingness to take ownership What Success Looks Like You bring clarity to the numbers.
