The Billing Operations & Strategy team is responsible for managing the entire billing lifecycle—from precise invoice creation to effective collections—and driving strategic initiatives that optimize our billing processes for scalability and accuracy. In this leadership role, you will manage a team of employees and contractors, playing a crucial part in meeting financial objectives and leading transformative changes in our billing approach. What you will do: Oversee the comprehensive billing operations for Coinbase Prime products, ensuring accuracy, timely execution, and efficient collections. Lead strategic initiatives and transformative projects aimed at scaling the billing program, focusing on enhancing efficiency, lowering costs, and minimizing risks. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement enhancements in processes and systems, championing solutions to improve the billing experience while aligning with business goals. What we seek in you: Over 6 years of experience in billing operations, finance operations, revenue operations, or a related field. At least 2 years of leadership experience, managing full-time staff or outsourced teams in operations, finance, billing, or related areas. Proven history of managing end-to-end billing processes in a high-volume, scaled environment. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Operations, or a similar field (or equivalent practical experience). Strong understanding of billing procedures and experience with CRM and financial systems. Proven track record in driving process improvements, implementing automation, and leading transformational projects that enhance efficiency and cut operational costs. Preferred qualifications: Experience in the cryptocurrency or financial services industry. Familiarity with accounting teams and a solid grasp of accounting principles relevant to billing and collections. Full-time offers from Coinbase will also include eligibility for bonuses, equity, and benefits such as medical, dental, vision, and 401(k).
