Job Full Description Job Title: 2nd Shift MIG Welder Location: Burnsville, MN Employment Type: Full-Time Shift: 2nd Shift Job Summary: We are currently seeking a reliable and skilled MIG Welder to join our 2nd shift team. This hands-on role involves MIG welding of metal components, with potential support for robotic welding operations. The ideal candidate will have at least 6 months to 1 year of consistent MIG welding experience, though recent technical school graduates are encouraged to apply. Key Responsibilities: Perform MIG welding on metal parts and assemblies according to specifications Inspect completed welds for quality and accuracy Assist in monitoring robotic welding machines and identifying any weld quality issues Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, or welding symbols Maintain a clean and safe work area, following safety protocols at all times Perform basic maintenance on welding equipment as needed Heavy lifting and physical labor may be required Requirements: 6 months to 1 year of consistent MIG welding experience OR recent completion of a welding program/technical college Ability to perform accurate welds on a variety of metal components Familiarity with hand tools and standard welding safety practices Comfortable working around robotic welders and assisting with troubleshooting quality issues Must be dependable, detail-oriented, and safety-conscious Able to lift up to [insert weight, e.g., 50 lbs] as needed Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a manufacturing or production environment Gear welding experience is a plus Ability to read and interpret technical drawings or blueprints Lakeville (Savage), MN 2220 8275 210th Street West Lakeville, MN 55044
