Plumbing Designer

Selectek is partnering with a company based in Marietta, Georgia to hire a Plumbing Designer. This firm specializes in residential, commercial, and light industrial projects.Employment Type: Contract to DirectExpected Pay Range: $33.65-$45/hour before permanent conversionLocation: Smyrna, GAJob Duties:• Design and layout of engineering drawings within the Plumbing and Fire Protection specialties.• Preparation of complete Plumbing and Fire Protection calculations including water supply, storm drainage, and equipment sizing.• Design Plumbing systems including sanitary waste and vent, storm water, domestic water distribution systems and natural gas distribution systems.• Design, size, select, schedule, and specify basic Plumbing system components to include fixtures, specialties, and equipment.• Design and select fire protection systems and equipment.Job Requirements:• Associates degree or technical drafting certification• 7+ years' experience as a plumbing designer working on commercial projects• Familiarity with applicable building codes and associated engineering design practices• Proficiency using AutoCAD• Proficiency using RevitSchedule: Monday-Friday, 7:30a - 4:30pFeel free to call Joey Fairbanks with Selectek at 470.203.9530 for more information on this position or other openings in the area.
