About the Role: We're looking for a skilled Maintenance Technician to support daily plant operations by performing mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and machine repair. This role keeps production running efficiently and safely while contributing to a high performance manufacturing environment. What You'll Do: Follow all safety procedures, including PPE and ISO 14001 EMS requirements. Perform mechanical and electrical maintenance on production equipment. Troubleshoot and repair equipment issues to reduce downtime. Respond quickly to breakdowns and production requests. Complete preventive maintenance tasks and identify potential failures. Accurately document maintenance work and parts used in SAP. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, diagrams, and P/&IDs. Use light rigging equipment when needed. Perform physical tasks including lifting, climbing, standing, and pulling. Maintain housekeeping standards in work and production areas. Perform other duties as assigned. What We're Looking For:Required: High School Diploma or GED. 2-5+ years industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience, or equivalent military training. Strong troubleshooting skills (bearings, chains, sprockets, gearboxes, electrical/mechanical systems). Ability to read technical drawings and schematics. Able to lift up to 50 lbs., occasionally move loads up to 100 lbs. Comfortable with heights, ladders, confined walking/standing for 10-12 hours. Willing to work overtime, holidays, and flexible hours as needed. Strong attendance, communication, and teamwork skills. Ability to learn quickly and document work accurately. Preferred: Multicraft experience (welding, millwright, pipefitting, lubrication) NCDOL Journeyman Apprentice (Level I or II) Experience with precision maintenance tools and diagnostic equipment. Previous maintenance experience in a Fiber Optics Cabling organization. Experience with 24v/120v/240v/480v 3phase systems Who Succeeds Here: Strong analytical problem solver.
