Chiller Technician

Key Responsibilities: Conduct routine maintenance on chiller systems to ensure optimal performance and energy efficiency. Perform preventive maintenance on boilers, chillers, pumps, and other auxiliary equipment. Diagnose and repair malfunctions in chiller systems using your expertise in refrigeration principles and electrical schematics. Manage the integration of chiller systems with the Building Automation System (BAS). Execute start-up procedures, troubleshoot issues, and conduct tear downs/rebuilds of chiller units as needed. Mentor fellow technicians on best practices for chiller maintenance and repair. Qualifications: Minimum of 5 years in mechanical troubleshooting. Strong attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. A commitment to safety in all aspects of work. Valid driver's license. Preferred Qualifications: Journeyman status or equivalent work/military experience. Familiarity with HVAC systems or water chillers. Universal EPA refrigerants license.
