Job Overview We are looking for a motivated and experienced Senior Market Access Applications Analyst to act as a vital link between our Market Access Commercial Business and IT departments. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering and supporting technology solutions that align with business objectives. Your expertise in Model N powered by Flex and Anaplan, along with your ability to integrate these systems with others, will be essential in maintaining a controlled and audited environment. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with business stakeholders to optimize Model N and Anaplan applications to support their operational goals. Evaluate and recommend improvements to current systems and processes to enhance effectiveness. Assist in assessing new technology systems and service providers. Manage end-to-end IT projects—planning, design, and implementation—ensuring on-time delivery and measurable impact. Collaborate with managed service providers to address technology needs, project delivery, solution design, and support services. Oversee the lifecycle of commercial application systems, from implementation to ongoing optimization. Create and maintain project documentation for effective knowledge management. Provide regular project updates, proactively manage issues, and adjust timelines as necessary. Troubleshoot quality and functionality issues related to technology systems. Prioritize enhancements and fixes in collaboration with stakeholders. Ensure compliance with daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly operational obligations. Work with IT teams to ensure smooth service delivery and communication. Establish performance metrics and service level agreements (SLAs) for IT service monitoring. Stay updated on industry trends to recommend new technologies and process adaptations during rapid growth. Act as the subject matter expert for application upgrades, integrations, and enhancements. Ensure Model N application maintenance, including upgrades, customizations, and resolving product issues. Address security vulnerabilities highlighted during security scans. Optimize Oracle PL/SQL and MS SQL performance for data processing efficiency. Essential Competencies Deep understanding of Commercial, Medicaid, and Government Pricing processes in the pharmaceutical sector. Skilled in managing integrations between various systems within an audited environment. Strong experience in building and operating a technology support function. Proficient in Oracle PL/SQL, Unix scripting, Cognos BI reporting, Tableau, SQL Server, and SSMS. Experience with AWS and Azure cloud technologies is preferred. Exposure to AI technologies is a plus. A collaborative team player who engages with SMEs and managed service providers effectively. Education and Experience Bachelor's degree in a related field is required; IT or business management training is advantageous. 4+ years of experience in managing commercial applications in a Pharma/Biotech setting with a strong focus on IT system delivery. 3+ years of experience with Model N powered by Flex and Anaplan. Familiarity with production support, software development lifecycle, and Model N upgrades. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a keen sense of urgency and ownership. The base salary range for this role is $80,000 to $100,000, with potential for merit-based increases, short-term incentive participation, and a comprehensive benefits package, including 401(k) contributions and various insurances.
