About the job Junior Procurement Specialist Inter - Marketplace & Supplier Research Title: Junior Procurement Specialist Intern - Marketplace & Supplier Research Company: ReadyToHire Location: Austin, TX (hybrid) Type: Internship (part-time), paid via partner program Role overview As a Junior Procurement Specialist Intern, youll help us build the supplier network and product catalog that sit at the heart of ReadyToHire. You will support senior procurement specialists with supplier research, RFQs, and data entry, and help structure product listings on our platform for EPC and industrial electrical projects. Responsibilities Research and pre-qualify suppliers, distributors, and 3PLs for electrical and industrial materials in the US, with a focus on EPC-relevant categories. Assist in preparing and sending RFQs, tracking responses, and organizing quote comparisons for senior review. Collect and maintain supplier information (contacts, categories, regions, capabilities) in our internal databases and tools. Support product and bundle listing on the platform: enter specs, pricing bands, attributes (e.g., voltage, rating, application), and lead times into our catalog. Help clean and standardize data across suppliers and listings (de-duplication, consistent naming and attributes, tagging approved vendors). Document basic procurement and onboarding workflows as you go, to inform how the platform should work for future users. Requirements Student or recent graduate in supply chain, engineering, business, data, or related field. Strong interest in procurement, marketplaces, construction/EPC, or electrical/industrial materials. Comfortable using spreadsheets and web tools; detail-oriented and organized in handling data. Able to communicate clearly in English (written and spoken); French is a plus. Based in greater Austin or able to collaborate in Central Time; occasional supplier or event visits may be possible.
