Job Title: Assembly Technician Job DescriptionWe are seeking a detail-oriented Assembly Technician to assemble medical components and sub-components using manual or automated tools. A strong emphasis on quality, accuracy, and attention to detail is essential. You will work under supervision, following detailed work instructions and drawing requirements to perform assembly operations according to the production schedule. Effective communication with the Production team is vital to ensure timely product delivery that meets quality standards and company goals. Additionally, adherence to 5S and safe work environment practices is required.Responsibilities Assemble medical components and sub-components using manual or automated tools. Follow detailed work instructions and drawing requirements under supervision. Perform assembly operations according to the production schedule. Communicate with the Production team to ensure products meet quality standards and company goals. Maintain compliance with 5S and safe work environment practices. Essential Skills Proficiency in assembly using hand tools and automated tools. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics. Mechanical assembly skills including the use of calipers and tape measures. Strong attention to detail and quality. First shift hours are Monday through Thursday, 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Second shift hours are 4:30 PM to 3:20 AM with a $2 shift differential. Weekend shifts are also available, with day shifts from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM and night shifts from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM, both Friday to Sunday, with 40 hours of pay.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Athens, AL.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
