Workday Contractor

Soni is partnering with a global biotechnology organization to hire a Workday Project Manager to support a large-scale Workday HCM implementation. This contractor will drive project coordination, governance, and delivery across HR, Payroll, Benefits, and Change Management workstreams. This role is ideal for a hands-on project leader with deep Workday experience who can manage timelines, push teams forward, and ensure the implementation stays on track.Responsibilities: Lead project governance and coordination for a Workday HCM implementation Manage integrated project timelines, milestones, and dependencies Track risks, issues, and escalation items Coordinate cross-functional teams and vendor partners Run status meetings and executive reporting Ensure deliverables stay on schedule Identify project risks early and drive resolution Support change management and stakeholder communication Maintain documentation and project controls Drive accountability across teams Requirements: 8-10+ years of project management experience Proven experience managing Workday implementations Strong understanding of Workday HCM, Payroll, and Time Tracking Experience managing implementation vendors Ability to push teams and drive accountability Strong executive communication skills Comfortable managing complex cross-functional programs Experience using project tools (MS Project, Smartsheet, JIRA, etc.) Qualifications: Workday change management experience Experience in enterprise HR system transformations PMP or similar certification Experience in biotech, pharma, or regulated industries Compensation: $55 - $65/ Hr Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications.
