Position Type: Secretarial and Clerical/Administrative Assistant Date Posted: 1/13/2026 Location: District 62 Schools Date Available: 2/2026 Closing Date: When Filled Community Consolidated School District 62 in Des Plaines, Illinois is seeking an Administrative Assistant Floater at D62 Schools. The Administrative Assistant Floater works across all D62 schools and locations; this postion works every day but may be in multiple locations each week providing support when the building Admin Assistant is out. This is a full time, 10 month 200-day position supporting the front office of North ElementarySchool. Please see the attached job description for more information. Mission The mission of District 62 is to cultivate an inclusive, innovative learning environment that inspires students to explore robust academics, advance their potential and to be compassionate lifelong learners. District Information: District 62 has approximately 4,500 students in grades preK-8 in 8 elementary schools, 2 middle schools, 1 early learning center, and 1 year-round, K-8 school.
