The right candidate may choose to do inpatient procedures, i.e. bronchs, EBUS, navigation, and other Pulm procedures, etc. • Our existing Intensivist will pick up all afterhours and weekend call (out-patient and inpatient calls). • The ambulatory pulmonary office sees a variety of cases including pulmonary hypertension, interstitial pulmonary fibrosis and tuberculosis with a good amount of high complexity cases. • The community has a Hispanic population as well as an Amish community. You will be busy from the start as there is a shortage of pulmonologists in the area with a backlog of patients that need to be seen. • Elkhart General Hospital has a 24 bed ICU providing a multi-disciplinary team approach to care including the intensivists, a nurse practitioner, nurses, pharmacy, case management and others.
