Position: Database Administrator - Consultant Location: Blythewood, SC (Hybrid- 5days/week onsite, Local Candidates Only) Duration: 12+ Month Contract (Extension Possible) Interview Process: Virtual/In-Person Job Description SQL Server Administration Install and configure new SQL Server instances Migrate databases to SQL Server 2022 Configure and maintain replication and mirroring Setup and manage maintenance automation Perform backup and recovery operations Monitor and troubleshoot performance issues (including after-hours/weekends) Develop and support SSRS reports Support SSIS packages Develop and support SSAS cubes and data warehouse solutions Establish database standards and best practices Support third-party vendor databases Oracle (Support Role) Familiarity with Oracle 19 database operations (desired) Support stored procedures and SQL as needed Business Intelligence Design, develop, and manage dashboards and BI reports Data Modeling Design and maintain logical and physical data models using ERwin Data Modeler Ensure database scalability, integrity, and performance Collaborate with architects, developers, and business teams to translate requirements into data models Required Skills 5+ years of SQL Server 2019 and 2022 experience 5+ years of SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) 5+ years of SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS) 5+ years of SQL Reports Designer experience 5+ years of Business Intelligence tools and dashboard/report design 5+ years of experience as an SQL Database Administrator 2+ years of experience supporting State Government environments Preferred Skills Data Domain Boost (DD Boost) for backup/restore operations Experience with Oracle 19 database operations Experience with Oracle Grid Control Experience with ERwin Data Modeler
