Packaging Technician 3 shifts

Packaging Operator Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour Location: Athens, GA Duration: 6-month assignment Shifts Available: 1st Shift: 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM 2nd Shift: 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM 3rd Shift: 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM Position Summary Responsible for labeling, inspecting, and packaging vaccines in a manufacturing environment. This role operates packaging equipment, ensures production targets are met, and maintains strict adherence to cGMP and quality standards. The Packaging Operator collaborates with cross-functional teams to achieve daily production goals safely and efficiently. Key Responsibilities Production & Equipment Operation Operate packaging equipment including labelers, pick-and-place machines, heat tunnels, vision systems, and forklifts Inspect finished product to ensure compliance with quality standards Perform equipment setup, changeovers, and basic troubleshooting Monitor line performance to meet target production rates Complete batch records and documentation accurately Quality & Compliance Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) Prepare and support QA line clearances Ensure all documentation is complete, accurate, and timely Adhere to defined process sequences and manufacturing records Communication & Team Collaboration Communicate processing needs and production updates to team members and supervisors Escalate process issues promptly Participate in Daily Performance Reviews Provide feedback on process improvement initiatives Safety & HSE Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Support Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) programs Identify and report unsafe conditions or practices Work in a safe and responsible manner at all times Qualifications Required High School Diploma or equivalent 2-3 years of manufacturing experience Detail-oriented with strong communication skills Basic math and computer skills Equipment troubleshooting experience Ability to lift up to 35 lbs Benefits (employee contribution): Health insurance Health savings account Dental insurance Vision insurance Flexible spending accounts Life insurance Retirement plan All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to age, race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or status as a protected veteran.
