Job Title: Assembler 2nd shiftJob DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled Assembler for our manufacturing and assembly department. The candidate will be tasked with assembling components of speed dryers, wash arms, installing hoses, building pump stands, organizing parts and kitting, and more. Components may weigh up to 50 pounds. A key part of the role involves wiring tasks which require fine-hand manipulation and the ability to follow a blueprint or production document.Responsibilities Assemble components of speed dryers and wash arms. Install hoses and build pump stands. Organize parts and manage kitting processes. Perform wiring tasks requiring fine-hand manipulation. Read and follow blueprints and production documents. Essential Skills Proficient in assembly and light assembly tasks. Experience using hand tools. Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions. Commitment to completing work orders. Adaptability in a dynamic work environment. Additional Skills & Qualifications 1+ year of assembly experience within a manufacturing environment. Ability to read a tape measure. The role is on the 2nd shift, from 3:15 pm to 1:45 am, Monday-Thursday, with overtime available on Fridays. The position will be contract-based initially, with a possibility of extension beyond January depending on workload. The dress code is casual with jeans and a t-shirt, and safety glasses with side shields and hearing protection will be provided. Steel-toed boots are required. The environment is diverse, with English, Vietnamese, and Spanish spoken on the line.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Grimes, IA.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $17.00 - $22.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
