WA License Required Position / Specialty: Surgical Tech Start date: ASAP Shift: 0645-1715, variable day off and call requirement Possible Saturday or holiday shift Call is once a week and one weekend per month Types of Cases Preferred: Eyes, Robotics, Neuro, Ortho. Unit will consider Non Certified Tech's that either have eyes, neuro, ortho, and robotics case experience or possess 5+ years as a Tech but maybe missing one of the skill sets needed. # of OR's: 12 Main Rooms Years of experience Req: 2 Years First-timers accepted: Yes Weekend Req: Yes (unless schedule posted says otherwise) National Certs Req: BLS and WA state license required, NBSTSA preferred BLS Req: Yes Is on-call Req: No Floating within Hospital: Yes Floating to sister Hospitals: No Open to accommodating block schedule: No - unless posting states otherwise Locals accepted: Yes Pending License accepted: No RTO Restrictions: 1 week Max Special Notes: Guaranteed Hours: In the event of low census Healthcare Providers may be called off without charge or placed on-call (for standard on-call rate) in 4 hour increments up to 1 shifts worth of hours in a 2 week cycle. For ambulatory or surgical services areas that are closed on weekends and holidays, Hospitals will not schedule travelers or meet the minimum during these periods.
