Job Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and client-focused Water/Wastewater Engineer who is ready to lead projects that make a significant impact. Responsibilities: Apply standard engineering techniques and criteria to conduct various tasks, enhancing your professional judgment and ethical responsibilities. Develop engineering details and make early-stage selections and adaptations of alternatives. Prepare engineering calculations and create visual aids and drawings. Utilize Autodesk Civil 3D to produce design drawings, plans, sections, and profiles. Oversee data collection and analysis to ensure informed decision-making. Engage in both preliminary and detailed design work. Compile technical memoranda, as well as preliminary and detailed design reports. Work closely with equipment suppliers and vendors. Draft technical specifications and tender documents. Review quantity and cost estimates for accuracy and completeness. Provide contract administration services throughout project construction. Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve project goals. Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Civil, Chemical, or Environmental Engineering. Four years of relevant experience or equivalent education and experience. Professional Engineer (PE) license or the ability to obtain it within 6 months of hire. Preferred Qualifications: MS in Civil Engineering or related discipline. More than 5 years of experience with hydraulic systems, water treatment, wastewater treatment, or similar fields. Familiarity with industry-standard software related to the position, including Civil 3D, GIS, hydraulic analysis, and process modeling. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). A strong team player with a positive attitude and eagerness to learn. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Understanding of project management principles and concepts.
