Box Truck Driver - FT - N. Charleston

Summary Responsible for the pickAAAup and delivery of donated items from households (tickets), attended donation centers (ADC), and retail stores. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Operate truck in safe manner abiding by all applicable State and local transportation rules and regulations. Perform daily preAAAtrip inspections on vehicle prior to starting route. Maintain daily log of scheduled stops. Maintain constant communication with Dispatcher via telephone. Load and unload vehicle in manner to safeguard donated items from breakage. Keep vehicle clean inside and out. Haul trash and scrap metal as authorized. Return salvage to centralized warehouse. Perform daily postAAAtrip inspections on vehicle and notify the Transportation Manager of any concerns. Ensure that first aid kit and fire extinguisher are maintained, (i.e. order supplies, check inspection date on fire extinguisher). #IND123
