Benefits:401(k)Paid time offSigning bonusJob Summary The Medical Office Coordinator serves as the primary point of contact for patients and supports the day-to-day administrative operations of the medical office. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a small-office environment.Key ResponsibilitiesAnswer multi-line phones with professionalism, warmth, and efficiencyGreet patients upon arrival and provide intake and new patient formsObtain, verify, and update insurance, billing, and demographic informationSchedule patient appointments and respond to patient inquiries with patience and careContact patients to confirm and remind them of upcoming appointmentsCoordinate billing-related information by communicating with accounting and/or billing staff as neededMaintain and organize patient records, both electronic and paperEnsure patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulationsMaintain cleanliness and organization of the reception and waiting areas, including periodic disinfectionSupport office operations by following established policies and proceduresAssist with general administrative tasks as needed to support the practiceQualifications & SkillsExcellent phone etiquette and customer service skillsStrong organizational and time-management abilitiesAbility to multitask in a fast-paced environmentAttention to detail and accuracyProfessional demeanor and reliabilityBasic computer skills, including email and word processingScheduling and administrative experience preferredFlexibility and willingness to assist with a variety of office needsWork EnvironmentThis position is in a small medical office where teamwork and adaptability are essential.
