The Shift Coordinator plays a vital role in leading our restaurant team to achieve outstanding sales and profitability results while providing exceptional guest service. This position supports the Restaurant General Manager (RGM) and Assistant Manager (AM) in managing daily operations during assigned shifts, focusing on key performance areas including sales, profit margins, guest satisfaction, and team engagement. The Shift Coordinator operates under the guidance of the RGM and directly oversees a team of Team Members during shifts. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Profitability Adhere to all cash control and security measures, such as safe counting and cash drawer management. Conduct daily and weekly inventory checks to maintain stock levels. Manage the receiving of inventory truck deliveries. Guest Experience Inspire and guide Team Members to go above and beyond in delivering accurate, prompt, and friendly service in a clean environment. Team Development Offer coaching and constructive feedback to Team Members to enhance their skills and improve overall restaurant performance. Operational Excellence Lead by example, working diligently to implement shift plans and achieve operational results. Oversee the efficient and accurate preparation and sale of menu items, ensuring adherence to established service speed guidelines. Motivate the team throughout the shift across all workstations. Analyze restaurant performance metrics to celebrate successes and identify improvement opportunities. Ensure compliance with operational and brand standards at all times. Qualifications and Skills: Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age. A High School Diploma or GED is required; 2 years of college is preferred. 1-2 years of experience in a quick service restaurant environment is necessary. Strong understanding of guest service principles is essential. Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays is required. Ability to work flexible and/or irregular shifts as needed to support restaurant operations.
