Key Responsibilities: Assess each emergency situation to determine the best course of action while adhering to established Paramedic protocols. Utilize your clinical skills with medical equipment and procedures such as defibrillators, EKG monitors, oxygen and suction devices, and intravenous fluids to deliver advanced medical care. Communicate effectively with patients and their families, providing reassurance and information regarding their care. Take on the role of team leader as a Paramedic, ensuring efficient scene and unit management when necessary. Drive the ambulance during 911 responses, ensuring timely and safe transport. Collaborate professionally with all health and public safety staff, as well as fellow Paramedics, to foster a team-oriented environment. Engage with community programs to enhance AMR’s image and build strong community relations. Minimum Required Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent (GED). State Paramedic License. State Driver's License. BLS, ACLS, NREMT-Paramedic certifications. Driving record that aligns with company policy. Ability to pass the Physical Agility Test.
