The ideal candidate will be a high energy, passion-filled and sales-motivated individual that is fitness-minded and has a love for community and our brand!POSITION:The purpose of the Membership Advisor is to assist the Sales/General Manager with achieving new membership sales objectives. The Membership Advisor also assists with current member relationship management and community outreach activities. Fitness knowledge or background is preferred but not required.REQUIREMENTS:Sales, communication and customer service skills requiredGoal-oriented with an ability to achieve sales in memberships and retail itemsAbility to learn and use the ClubReady software systemAbility to stand or sit for up to 6 hours throughout the workdayMust be fluent in English and have excellent communication skills via in-person, phone, email and textBe able to multi-taskRESPONSIBILITIES:Assist the Sales/General Manager with the sales process of lead generation, follow-up and closeBook and confirm Introductory Stretches for prospective membersManage the front desk to greet and check-in members and prospectsConduct tours of the facility while establishing a relationship and targeting individual’s needs and wantsMaintain acceptable level of personal sales productionPresent available services to current or prospective membersBook quality appointments to achieve monthly sales quota and follow-up with leads and missed Intro StretchesParticipate in special events (health fairs, grand openings, marathons, and community and hospital events) to promote the studioEnsure studio is clean and tidyCOMPENSATION & PERKS:Competitive compensation based on experienceCommission paid on membership and retail salesFranchise-developed training and educationFree stretch sessions and discounted membershipsPossible opportunities for growth within the studio, including additional sales and management opportunitiesJob Type: Part-timePay: From $16.00 - $18.00 per hour based on experienceExpected hours: 15 – 30 hours per weekBenefits:Voluntary insurance benefits program (e.g., Dental, Vision, Cancer, etc.)Paid sick leaveEmployee assistance programEmployee discountsFlexible scheduleSupplemental Pay: Commission payAbility to commute/relocate: Arlington, VA: Reliably commute (Required)Experience: Membership sales: 1 year (Preferred)Work Location: In-person
