As a Specialist in Guidewire development at PwC, you will focus on creating and customizing applications using the Guidewire platform. This software suite equips insurance companies with vital tools for policy administration, claims management, and billing. Your key responsibilities will include designing, coding, and testing software solutions tailored to specific needs within the insurance sector. The Opportunity: Join our P&C Insurance Sector Technology Consulting team to design, develop, and maintain Earnix pricing components. You will play a pivotal role in enhancing rate order calculations for consistent outcomes. As a Manager, you will lead teams and manage client accounts while focusing on strategic planning and the mentorship of junior staff. This position offers a unique opportunity to collaborate with product and pricing stakeholders to transform requirements into impactful insurance sector solutions. Responsibilities: Build and support integrations across various systems. Mentor junior staff to foster their professional development. Manage client accounts to ensure project success. Utilize strategic planning to boost team performance. Analyze and resolve complex pricing strategy challenges. Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree required. Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience. Desirable Skills: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field. Experience in P&C insurance or pricing-intensive sectors. Familiarity with CI/CD and release management practices. Ability to support production operations through monitoring and incident triage. Strong analytical skills with great attention to detail. Experience mentoring junior developers and configurators. Proficient in maintaining documentation and managing stakeholder relationships. Experience with test automation or structured testing frameworks. Demonstrated SQL skills with large datasets. Hands-on experience developing/configuring solutions in Earnix. Proven experience in building and maintaining Rate Tables and Rate Routines in Earnix. Hands-on experience with rate order calculations within Earnix. Experience implementing Earnix integrations. Comprehensive understanding of pricing data inputs required by Earnix. Ability to troubleshoot complex pricing issues effectively. PwC is proud to be an equal opportunity employer. The salary range for this position is: $99,000 - $232,000. Actual compensation will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications, and location.
