Below are the compensation ranges for each level: Mid-Level: $92,700 - $114,000 Senior Level: $122,400 - $154,000 Position Overview In this role, you will perform advanced technical and engineering problem-solving to support nuclear plant operations while serving as a valued technical resource for fellow engineers. You will be responsible for making crucial technical decisions and will leverage your extensive knowledge in your discipline, along with relevant industry codes and regulations. Key Responsibilities Provide deep technical expertise to develop, manage, and execute engineering analyses and programs. Serve as a subject matter expert to address and resolve equipment and system issues. Take ownership of engineering and technical leadership responsibilities related to programs affecting site operations. Execute engineering tasks under supervision, applying sound engineering principles. Ensure accuracy and timeliness in work, adhering to standard design criteria and regulatory requirements. Conduct independent research and analysis to support various technical projects and initiatives. Propose new equipment, concepts, and methodologies to enhance performance, reduce costs, or ensure compliance with evolving regulations. Be adaptable to perform additional duties as needed, including emergency response and support during outages. Minimum Qualifications for Mid-Level Engineer Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Chemical, Civil/Structural, Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical, or Nuclear) with at least 2 years of nuclear or related engineering experience. Ability to meet minimum access requirements and pass a favorable medical examination/testing as necessary for the role. Minimum Qualifications for Senior Engineer Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Chemical, Civil/Structural, Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical, or Nuclear) with a minimum of 5 years of nuclear or related engineering experience. Ability to meet minimum access requirements and pass a favorable medical examination/testing as necessary for the role. Preferred Qualifications Strong background in Instrumentation and Controls (I&C) or Electrical engineering. Demonstrated leadership abilities to advance initiatives within the organization. Experience in supervisory roles is a plus but not required.
