Bookkeeper - Expert on QB Desktop

Bookkeeper Onsite Stamford, CT Full-Time About the Role We're partnering with a small, established managed services provider that supports a loyal client base and prides itself on long-term relationships and operational excellence. As the business continues to grow, they're looking to add a Bookkeeper who can take full ownership of day-to-day accounting functions and bring structure, accuracy, and consistency to AR, AP, and billing processes. Key Responsibilities Manage full-cycle accounts payable and accounts receivable Prepare and issue customer invoices; monitor collections and follow up on outstanding balances Process vendor invoices and payments accurately and on time Maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks Desktop or QuickBooks Premier Reconcile bank and credit card accounts Assist with monthly close and basic financial reporting Respond to internal and client billing inquiries Support process improvements and documentation as the business grows Requirements What They're Looking For 3+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience Expert-level experience with QuickBooks Desktop or QuickBooks Premier (required) Strong experience with AR, AP, and billing Comfortable working independently in a small office environment Highly organized, detail-oriented, and dependable Strong communication skills and customer-focused mindset Experience in a services or technology-driven business is a plus Why This Role Stable, well-run small business with long-term clients High trust, high visibility role Opportunity to make a real impact and streamline processes Collaborative, low-ego team environment
