Position Summary The Operations Supervisor is responsible for leading daily operations within the store replenishment distribution center, ensuring a safe, accurate, and efficient flow of goods to retail locations. This role oversees safety, operational planning, accuracy, and cost-per-unit performance while motivating and developing team members. The ideal candidate is an energetic multitasker with excellent communication skills who can influence positive outcomes despite challenges. Key Responsibilities Safety Leadership Promote and enforce a culture of safety across all operations. Conduct regular safety audits, meetings, and training to ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards. Operational Planning & Execution Plan, schedule, and supervise daily workflows to support timely and accurate store replenishment. Balance labor, equipment, and resources to achieve productivity and efficiency targets. Ensure compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs) and operational best practices. Performance & Accuracy Monitor and improve performance metrics including accuracy, throughput, and cost per unit. Analyze productivity reports and implement corrective actions where needed. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize processes. People Leadership Supervise, train, and develop associates to ensure high performance and career growth. Foster a positive, collaborative, and accountable team culture. Provide regular coaching, feedback, and performance evaluations. Communication & Problem-Solving Maintain clear, consistent communication with leadership, associates, and cross-functional partners. Anticipate and resolve operational challenges with a focus on achieving positive outcomes. Influence and motivate others to embrace changes and overcome obstacles. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered. 3+ years of supervisory experience in distribution, warehousing, or retail replenishment environment. Proven ability to manage productivity, accuracy, and cost-based performance metrics. Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills. Demonstrated success in multitasking and problem-solving in a fast-paced environment. ERP and Warehouse Management System (WMS) experience at a power user level, with ability to analyze data and optimize system functionality. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite. Preferred Skills Lean Six Sigma or continuous improvement background. Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety compliance standards. Experience with labor management systems and cost-per-unit analysis. Advanced knowledge of ERP and WMS reporting, dashboards, and troubleshooting. Physical Requirements & Working Environment Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. and stand/walk for extended periods. Ability to bend, stoop, climb ladders, and reach overhead with or without accommodations. Comfortably working in a dynamic warehouse environment with varying temperatures. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and peak periods such as holidays or promotional events.
