A Day in Your Life as a Tax Preparation Associate: Embrace the opportunity to embark on a rewarding career with the support of an expert team dedicated to your success. Here’s what you’ll be doing: Conduct engaging tax interviews with clients, using face-to-face meetings as well as virtual tools like video, phone, chat, and email. Prepare complete and accurate tax returns. Drive business growth by increasing client retention and offering additional products and services. Furnish clients with essential IRS support. Collaborate with your team to achieve office priorities. Expand your tax expertise through our comprehensive training programs. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field. Experience in customer service or a retail environment. A track record of working effectively in a fast-paced and supportive environment. Availability to work 25-35 hours weekly during tax season and up to 40 hours during peak weeks. What You Bring to Our Team: Success in completing the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment or Income Tax Course. A strong capability to thrive in a fast-paced setting. Comfort with virtual communication tools. Excellent communication skills, whether in person, via phone, or in writing. Compliance with all IRS and applicable state requirements.
