CNC Machinist

Aegis has openings with a client in Glendale Heights, IL. Seeking CNC machinist for each of their shifts. These roles are 6 month temporary to hire positions. Shifts: 1st Shift (7:00am-3:00pm) Monday-Friday 2nd Shift (3:00pm-11:00pm) Monday-Friday 3rd Shift (11:00pm-7:00am) Sunday-Friday, starts Sunday night High school diploma or GED 3+ years of hands-on experience as a CNC machinist Proven ability to set up and operate CNC machines independently through job completion Experience operating both CNC lathes and milling machines Ability to read and interpret blueprints and work instructions Working knowledge of GD&T Proficiency with precision measuring tools including micrometers, calipers, and height gauges Experience with common CNC controls and machine types including Fanuc, Haas, Mazak, and Okuma Basic understanding of G-code and M-code Experience using Mastercam Experience machining carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum Nice to have: Multi axis machine experience Any programming experience (would send $$ if they have this and can program their own machines) Technical schooling or certifications
