Our Retail Pharmacy division plays a pivotal role in ensuring the accurate dispensing of medications while adhering to the highest legal and ethical standards. Job Summary We are seeking a Retail Pharmacy Operations Manager to lead our pharmacy team. This role involves providing comprehensive medication management and pharmaceutical care to the community, including immunizations, patient consultations, and medication therapy management. This position will be located onsite at Ryan Health Pharmacy, 110 W 97th St, New York, NY 10025. Facility hours: Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm (Hours may vary based on business needs) Key Responsibilities Work collaboratively with health center leadership to deliver pharmacist-led clinical and dispensing services to patients. Establish best practices and ensure compliance within the pharmacy department. Manage staffing levels to meet the pharmacy's operational needs effectively. Keep precise records of all prescription medications received and dispensed. Ensure adherence to policies regarding accurate prescription dispensing and labeling. Maintain security protocols for the prescription area and promptly report any thefts or diversions of controlled substances. Uphold a clean, organized, and sanitary environment in the pharmacy, ensuring compliance with all Federal and State pharmacy regulations. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy required; PharmD preferred. 1 year of pharmacy management experience; 2-5 years of related pharmacy experience. Current pharmacist registration in New York state required. Flexibility in scheduling is essential. Strong interpersonal and customer service skills. Excellent multitasking and time management abilities. Experience with 340B programs is preferred. Clinical ambulatory pharmacy experience or interest is a strong plus. Vendor credentialing may be required. Expectations for Success Coordinate and oversee daily operations and staff activities. Administer and enforce pharmacy policies and procedures. Ensure team compliance with operational guidelines. Make impactful decisions in line with operational goals and customer satisfaction. Engage frequently with team members, customers, and management for effective information exchange.
